About Me
I attended a classical educational school from grade 1 to 8 where we studied Latin all 8 years, and that focused on the Humanities. We read lots of the great literature which exposed me to and got me excited on the craft of prose and storytelling.
I wrote my first digital web series at age 8, and penned my first play in the fifth grade. My teacher read it and approved its production and I got busy casting parts right away. Soon, I started ferociously reading dystopian novels, joining communities of writers where we exchanged and criticized each others writing and scripts. This helped me become a better writier. I learned how frame and organize my thoughts and ideas so they make sense to readers.
I love watching musical theater and plays, and listening to music from theater. In middle school, I wrote my first series, “Gods”.
By high school, I had accumulated quite a few unfinished works and today, as a rising 11th grade student, I have finished several short stories and started at least one novel.
I get mentorship, guidance and support from a community of educators at Writopia.
I also love to act and have starred in a few theatrical productions in high school and had my first lead role in fall 2023 with the DeMatha Players in Hyattsville, Maryland.
I credit my parents for giving me the freedom to express myself and providing me the foundation to explore writing. Both of them are writers as well. My dad is penning his own great novel.
