I attended a classical education school from grades 1 to 8, where we studied Latin all eight years
and focused heavily on the Humanities. Immersed in great literature during this time, I developed
a deep appreciation for prose and storytelling.

At age 8, I wrote my first digital web series, and by fifth grade, I had penned my first play. My
teacher read and approved it for production, sparking a flurry of activity as I cast the parts and
brought my story to life. Soon after, I became captivated by dystopian novels and joined writing
communities where I exchanged and critiqued stories and scripts with other writers.

This collaborative environment sharpened my skills and taught me how to structure my ideas so
they resonate with readers.

I’ve always been drawn to theater, both as a spectator and participant. I love watching musicals
and plays and listening to music from the stage. In middle school, I created my first series, Gods.

By high school, I had accumulated a collection of unfinished works. Today, as a rising 11th
grader, I’ve completed several short stories and am working on my first novel.

My growth as a writer has been nurtured by the mentorship and guidance of educators at
Writopia.

In addition to writing, I have a passion for acting. I’ve starred in several high school productions
and landed my first lead role in fall 2023 with the DeMatha Players in Hyattsville, Maryland.

I credit my parents for providing me with the freedom to express myself and the foundation to
explore my creativity. Both are writers as well—my dad is currently working on his own novel.
